Coronation Street airs a deceit of sorts on the ITV soap next week, with new spoilers confirming Tyrone Dobbs will put his daughter Hope's freedom before girlfriend Alina Pop.
Alina was left in grave danger in recent scenes, as a fire was started at the flat - and tragically the pregnant character lost her baby in the fallout.
It is soon confirmed the incident is being treated as arson - with her young stepdaughter Hope appearing to be the culprit.
Next week, Alina is living in fear believing the person responsible was trying to kill her, while Hope did not realise she was in the flat.
She begins to speculate over who could have done it and why, and is soon left confronting her past.
But she has no idea that partner Tyrone knows the truth, and is allowing her to live in fear in order to protect young Hope.
Not only that, but he even plants her keys back in the flat, which Hope stole to let herself in, to make it seem as though no one had access to the building.
Claiming to have found the 'missing' keys in a coat pocket, Alina is confused and it only worries her further.
Hope, meanwhile, and her mother Fiz have fled Weatherfield and are hiding out in a B&B with the help of Tyrone.
He spins a lie that she's gone away to visit her mum Cilla, while Tyrone's gran Evelyn is convinced she knows what happened with the fire.

Her fears are soon confirmed when Tyrone is forced to admit to her that it was Hope.
She finds out Cilla is in Devon so Fiz can't be there, and he breaks down before admitting what he knows and the pair's true whereabouts.
Against her better judgement, she agrees to keep the truth a secret from Alina and the police - but Alina soon learns the reality about Cilla.
So when she sees Fiz and Hope entering the house, she makes a big decision amid her being convinced it was love rival Fiz who started the fire.
Fiz is soon helped into a police car and taken away for questioning after being accused of being the fire starter.
As Tyrone realises what Alina has done, he's horrified and decides to tell her the awful truth about Hope and the fire.
Alina is dumbstruck, but is it too late to save Fiz?
