Coronation Street actor Joe Duttine has hinted it may be game over for his character's evil dad Geoff Metcalfe very soon.
His character Tim Metcalfe is yet to learn the horrifying truth about his father's abusive past and present, but he soon suspects something isn't right.
Geoff's wife Yasmeen Nazir is currently in prison after attacking him, months on from his horrendous abuse towards her.
Corrie viewers have seen Geoff abusing her for a while, coercively controlling her, manipulating her and isolating her from her loved ones.
She was arrested for stabbing him in the neck with a glass bottle, and was accused of attempted murder.

But Yasmeen wasn't alone, with recent episodes seeing another abuse victim come forward - Elaine.
Elaine visited Yasmeen in prison and confirmed herself as an ex of Geoff's, before revealing he targeted her too.
The full extent of his abuse towards her and whether there are other victims remains unknown for the time being.

But with so many people on the street including Tim's wife Sally all turning against Geoff, surely it is only a matter of time before he is exposed.
Tim is blinded by his love and admiration for his father, believing he isn't capable of such actions.
With Yasmeen finally speaking out and being supported by so many, some viewers are tipping newcomer Elaine to be the final nail in the coffin.

Now, speaking to Inside Soap magazine, Tim actor Joe has hinted his character could also be next to learn the truth.
Not only that, but it seems Tim will turn his back on his father once the truth is out, with it said the character is starting to sense something isn't right with Geoff.
Joe told the publication: "Remember that Tim isn't aware of what the rest of the nation knows about Geoff.

"Tim only reacts to the interactions he has with his dad, and he doesn't want to believe that he could do anything wrong.
"Tim will see cracks in the picture he has of Geoff.
"It’s a slow burn, and Tim’s remaining loyal to his dad until the stage he can no longer do so. We may be getting closer to that stage."
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm on ITV.
