Coronation Street 's Damon Hay and Sarah Platt learned a character had uncovered their night of passion, in the latest episode of the ITV soap.
Sarah was forced to confess all after a fellow resident revealed she knew about her sleeping with Damon.
The character was left fearing the truth would be exposed to her husband Adam Barlow on Wednesday night, but she was told it was Damon she needed to watch out for.
Dee-Dee Bailey was watching client Damon and her boss Adam's wife Sarah from afar, and noticed them appearing heated.
Sarah was warning Damon about her "mistake" in sleeping with him earlier in the week, insisting it would go no further.
After Dee-Dee confronted Sarah about it, she worked out exactly what had gone on before issuing a warning to Damon.
It all kicked off when Dee-Dee and Adam found evidence to keep Damon out of prison, after his day in court.
Sarah was convinced Damon would go to prison over his recent drug bust, so she was horrified to learn her fling was going nowhere.
Adam explained that the case was thrown out and Damon was acquitted of all charges, making him a free man.
While Sarah did her best to ignore Damon, he soon approached her and told her how he felt leaving her feeling awkward.
It's then that Dee-Dee asked Sarah about the moment, and managed to work out there was something going on.
After realising Sarah had slept with Damon, Sarah told Dee-Dee it was none of her business - leading to her pointing out that Adam was her boss.
Dee-Dee promised Sarah she wouldn't say anything, but could she be forced to reveal all to Adam?
She warned Sarah that it wasn't her she should be worried about, and that Damon could spill the beans.
Sarah sent Damon a message for a secret meeting, and when he arrived she told him that they needed to stay away from each other.
Damon told her he had feelings for her and hoped she liked him, but Sarah insisted she wanted her marriage to work and that nothing would ever happen with Damon.
She then went back home and told husband Adam she was ready to try for a baby with him.
It seems it isn't over though, as it's been confirmed "explosive" scenes are ahead for Damon and a mystery lover who could be Sarah in a summer storyline.
