Corrie's Sally Dynevor claims building work at a prestigious grammar school are damaging her family home.
The actress, mother to Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor, 25, is involved in a planning dispute with Altrincham Grammar School for Girls.
The three-storey Victorian Dynevor home adjoins the schools grounds in the leafy village of Bowdon in Cheshire.
Sally, who plays Sally Webster in the ITV soap, tweeted the school last month: "Your building foundation work is causing damage to our house and to our neighbours.
"We've contacted you numerous times alerting you [to] this but after a week we still have had no visit from you or any direct response to our emails."
The 57-year-old - made an MBE in the New Year Honours list - told a follower who responded that she and her neighbours had asked the contractors to carry out a pre-works survey, but claimed they had refused.
Mother-of-three Sally and scriptwriter husband Tim joined more than 30 neighbours to oppose the school's planning application to construct a new 32ft timber-clad sports hall at the school.
In a joint letter in 2019, Sally and her neighbours claimed the proposed hall would block light to their back gardens, destroy the tranquility of the area and described it as looking like a "grossly unattractive commercial warehouse".
In the application the school claimed the 400 sq m multi-purpose sports hall, changing rooms, new classrooms and associated landscaping would be "sympathetic" to the Devisdale and Bowdon Conservation Areas in which it stands.
After discussion, Trafford Council gave permission for the plans in October and work has now begun.
The school did not respond to a request for comment.
