Nicola Thorp has shared the horrific messages she's received from trolls on social media following her appearance on This Morning.
The former Coronation Street star clashed with Phillip Schofield after she suggested that all men have at one point passed up an opportunity to call out abuse on women.
After the tragic murder of Sarah Everard, a conversation about the safety of women was sparked as Nicola shared her bold opinion.
Nicola said that "it's not about violence against women, it's about male violence against women" and she spoke to hosts Phil and Holly Willoughby about the fear women are forced to live with.

But since her appearance on the ITV chat show, Nicola has shared the grim messages that have flooded her DMs on social media.
"I’m no longer blurring out details. The police can’t do anything, Instagram WON’T do anything so we deal with it ourselves," she wrote on Twitter.
"Feel free to report them, I don’t have the energy anymore. If you think I’m encouraging them by sharing their abuse, then you’re part of the problem."
In a follow-up tweet, she added: "If you’ve received any type of abuse in DMs and want a platform to share it, feel free to post it here and we can support / report it for you."

Some of the horrific messages Nicola has received include threats of her facing "ramifications" of her words, while another message read: "Just saw your interview on This Morning on a YouTube clip... Here is some abuse for you. Go f*** yourself you self-centred s***."
Speaking to Phil and Holly earlier this week, Nicola told them the abuse against women from men is what we need to tackle.
"That's what we need to focus on because for decades women have been doing all sorts of ridiculous things to try and keep ourselves safe," Nicola said.
"Has sending a text to your friend at the end of the night to let her know that you got home, how is that to keep you safe? That is only informing a friend you have disappeared."

She added: "I've been overwhelmed this weekend by wonderful male friends and men on Twitter who have spoken out and said 'we're part of the problem'. They've said, 'I don't harass women but I have stood by and allowed it to happen'."
"So yes, not all men are abusers but all men at some point in their life have passed up an opportunity to call out abuse," she added.
It was then when Phil spoke up and challenged Nicola, saying that he has never passed up an opportunity to put an end to abuse against women.
"You don't think so?" Nicola asked Phil, to which he said: "No, not to my knowledge."

"Oh well there we go then, you're one of the not all men," the soap star said.
Phil went on: "I suspect there is a great number of many men who haven't. I'm hearing in the gallery now a number of men who are saying no that hasn't happened to me."
Nicola was not buying it, telling Phil she simply does not believe that's the case.
"Well I find that very difficult to believe, because I as a woman have even been in a situation where I've seen someone being harassed," she added.
