Coronation Street's Tim Metcalfe was left fearing the worst on Friday, after trying to track down his mother Elaine Jones.
Elaine showed up on the street in July, and it was soon revealed that she was Geoff Metcalfe's ex, and the real mother of Tim.
She was abused by her husband just like his current wife Yasmeen Nazir, and she came back to take him down and expose him.
But Tim refused to believe she was his mother, or her claims about his father.
Last month fans feared Geoff had killed her, after she went missing following a row between them - with him later shown discarding her phone sim card.
Now, Tim has finally found out the truth about Geoff's abuse towards Yasmeen.
It led to him realising that everything Elaine had said about her own ordeal must have been true - including the fact she was his mum.
Realising he needed to speak to her, he decided to attempt to find her after she went missing weeks ago.
He wanted to hear her side of the story, and recalled an address she had left on an envelope recently.
After finding it in the bin, he decided to race to the address to locate his mum.
But when he got there, he was left fearing Geoff may have got rid of her after a discovery at the house.
Elaine wasn't there, but a pile of post by her front door appeared to confirm she had not been back to her own home for a long time.
It would appear Elaine never returned home after her run-in with Geoff, so where is she?
Returning to Weatherfield, Tim was alarmed that he could not locate his missing mum.
He told wife Sally and Yasmeen's granddaughter Alya that he was worried for her, fearing Geoff was behind it like they did.
Tim vowed to find out where she was from Geoff, but will he learn the truth and is she in danger?
