Coronation Street star Lisa George has revealed she is back filming after months of shielding.
The actress, who plays Beth Tinker on the ITV soap, hasn't been seen on screen for much of the last year.
Lisa, 50, has type 2 diabetes and was left half-blind in her right eye after suffering a mini-stroke.
Fans were thrilled when Lisa took to Instagram to reveal the news with a selfie from her dressing room at the Salford-based set.
"First day back at work... filming done ans now catching up on fan Mail and scripts," she wrote alongside the glam selfie.
"Apologies to all those who have sent me letters and not had a response yet... I’m working through them... thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to write , it is much appreciated. I shall respond as soon as I can."
She added: "All the best for now. Thanks to the fabulous hair wizardess @meghangorman_hair for sorting my locks out before coming back to work."
Lisa's Corrie co-stars were among the first to welcome her back.
"Welcome back, gorgeous," Toyah Battersby actress Georgia Taylor said.
Melanie Hill, who portrays Cathy in the soap, said: "Looking fabulous Lisa."
"You look amazing," Sally Carman, who plays Abi Franklin, added.
And Tracey Barlow actress Kate Ford took the opportunity to joke: "Hope you like our slightly tidier dressing room?" with Lisa replying: "Was it???" alongside a string of laughing face emojis.
Fans also flooded the post to offer their support to the star.
"Be good to see you back on our screens Lisa," wrote one.
Another said: "Can't wait to see you back in coronation Street."
"Nice to see you back, gorgeous as always," a third added.
A fourth commented: "Awww this is brilliant! cannot wait to see you back on my screen."
Lisa also took the opportunity to thank everyone for their messages.
"Totally overwhelmed by all your beautiful comments," she said. "How lovely!!
