Coronation Street's Johnny Connor finally returned to the street on Monday night, after hiding away in recent scenes.

From being Carla Connor's real father to him somehow being linked to her mother, fans were trying to work out his real identity.
Johnny was desperate to get away from him, and on returning to Weatherfield he was hopeful he was now out of the picture.
In the latest episode of the ITV soap, Johnny finally returned and was desperate to find wife Jenny after leaving her to return home alone recently.
The longer he stayed away the more annoyed she was, with Scott clearly suspecting he was to blame for him staying away.
He hasn't been around recently, but Peter Barlow, Carla's partner, revealed he was staying around the corner.

Peter was sure they were former pals, despite his own suspicions over his identity recently after he attacked two people who were blackmailing Carla.
Johnny made it clear they were not friends, and that he was his "history" teasing something did happen years ago.
He told Peter and Carla: "So Scott is gone then?" before looking unnerved to learn that he was still around.
Peter said: "I thought he was your pal?" to which he replied: "Me and him are ancient history, we were never that close."
