Corrie's Jack P Shepherd takes his £41,000 Mustang for a spin to Sainsbury's

Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd was rocking a Mickey Mouse T-shirt and shades as he went for a spin in his £41,000 Mustang.

The Corrie favourite who plays David Platt stocked up on some shopping from Sainsbury's in Manchester city centre while in lockdown.

He took his sleek black Mustang 5.0 V8 on the shopping trip.

The soap star, 32, paired his fun T-shirt with black jeans and Converse trainers.

Jack, who is celebrating 20 years playing David in the Weatherfield soap, is now sporting a full beard which he recently played up to in a hilarious Instagram video of him imitating X-Men's Wolverine played by Hugh Jackman.

He went shirtless for an indoor workout, swapping Wolverine's claws for knives and forks.

"Do I get the part? @thehughjackman," he asked as she shared a video on his Instagram.

Jack previously paid homage to Hollywood legend Tom Cruise by copying his dance scene from the 1983 film Risky Business.

And he entertained fans by performing Hugh Grant's famous dance from the 2003 romantic comedy film Love Actually.

He dedicated the dance to the NHS who are working tirelessly on the frontline of the coronavirus crisis.

In the soap his character David is currently in meltdown after being rejected by his wife who is suffering from memory loss after being shot on Christmas Day.

After Shona asked for a divorce, David is giving himself an adrenaline rush by challenging dangerous gangs and being chased.
