Corrie's Harriet Bibby posts cosy snap with co-star as romance rumours swirl

Coronation Street star Harriet Bibby has been spotted cosying up with her co-star James Craven sparking romance rumours.

Harriet, 23, who plays Summer Spellman on the Weatherfield cobbles took to Instagram to share a night out with some of her co-stars - including her on-screen love interest James, who plays Aaron in the ITV soap.

The pair beamed back at the camera as they posed for pictures with their other co-star Jamie Kenna, who plays Phill.

And the soap stars couldn't help but have a laugh at the notable height difference between Harriett and James and Jamie, with only the top of Harriet's head being seen.

The second snap showed Harriet pulling a big smile for the camera as the trio enjoyed a night out together.

Finally, the third picture showed the three of them all at the same height as they posed for their selfie.

Commenting on the post, James chipped in to say: "A short story."

A third said: "Looking good Harriet and James."

Harriet has played Summer in the ITV soap since November 2020 taking over from Matilda Freeman (ITV)

The pair previously posted a picture together on social media, with Harriet calling them "little and large".

Meanwhile back in Weatherfield 16-year-old Summer has been the focus of a teen struggle storyline with the pressure of her exams.

She has been forced to adjust to a diabetes diagnosis but forged a close bond with Aaron who she met at a diabetes support group.

But after concerns about her body image she stopped taking her insulin before heading to a exam which ended with her suffering blurred vision and taken to hospital.

After Summer's diabetes diagnosis was revealed last summer, actress Harriet told Digital Spy : "I don't think as a teenager she likes being told what to do".

"You have to stay on top of your medication because otherwise it can have domino effects on your health," she said.

"So yeah, I think we see a little bit of that teenage rebellion and difficulty with coming to terms with having to maintain doing your medication and things like that."

Coronation Street airs three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV.
