Former Coronation Street Street star Faye Brookes was feeling at her confident best for the stage after having a body contouring treatment to tighten the skin on her bum and thighs.
The 34-year-old actress, who played Kate Connor on the soap and is currently playing the lead role Roxie Hart in the touring musical Chicago, had two 45-minute treatments at skin and hair specialists Este Medical Group in Salford Quays.
Stretford-born Faye took to Instagram to tell her 175,000 followers about her experience with the cellulite-busting VelaShape 111 machine.

Sharing a video of her experience, she said: “Today I went back to Este Medical Group to have one of their treatments with their VelaShape 111 body contouring machine.

“The treatment itself is like a gentle massage. The machine is warm and it just penetrates the back of my thighs.”
And in another post she wrote: “By using radio frequency the machine gently massages over the targeted areas, heating the surface of the skin to tighten any loose skin instantly.
“Giving a smoother appearance to your skin and the confidence boost you deserve.”
According to Este Medical Group’s website, the VelaShape III machine uses infrared light, radio frequency waves and vacuum pressure to reduce the appearance of cellulite and target sagging skin.
The machine’s massage and suction rollers work by relaxing fibrous bands caused by cellulite while radio frequency waves are said to help shrink fat in the affected area.
Este Medical Group CEO Sam Cinkir said: “We’re always thrilled to see Faye at our Salford Quays clinic and she has built a really strong bond with our team.
“The VelaShape III is one of our most popular treatments and it can produce some incredible results for patients who want to tackle cellulite and sagging skin.
“At Este Medical Group, we work hard to bring our patients the newest and best treatments to tackle a range of skin and hair issues.”
Faye joined Corrie in 2015 and won the Best Newcomer award at the National Television Awards in 2017.
After leaving the cobbles in 2019, she went on to compete in the 2021 series of Dancing on Ice, where she finished runner-up to Sonny Jay.
