Coronation Street aired frustrating scenes on Friday, as evil Geoff Metcalfe continued to manipulate his loved ones.
The character has managed to convince son Tim Metcalfe and granddaughter Faye Windass that he was the victim of a volatile marriage to Yasmeen Nazir.
While several residents are swaying towards Yasmeen's side, including Tim's partner Sally, the pair are sticking by Geoff.
Yasmeen had been controlled and abused by her husband for months, leading to a final showdown last month.
Geoff had isolated her and controlled her for months, by keeping her in the house, forcing her to clean constantly and stealing her money - isolating her from her loved ones.
Yasmeen is currently in prison after a brutal attack saw her stab him in the neck with a broken glass bottle, while it was in self-defence.
She recently pleaded not guilty in court, so the case will go to trial - with Geoff fearing the truth will come out.
In the meantime, Eileen Grimshaw and Cathy Matthews have joined Yasmeen's granddaughter Alya in supporting her.
But Sally has also shared her thoughts that Geoff is not innocent like he claims, and how she thinks Yasmeen might be the victim.
In the latest episode, Alya uncovered her potential support for Yasmeen and hoped to get her on side.
Back at home, after Sally had kicked Geoff out, Tim's daughter Faye was furious with her and decided to move out to show her solidarity with her grandfather.
Geoff pretended to act innocent and as though Faye didn't need to do this for him, while knowing full well he had created a rift between the household.
Tim was gutted about his daughter, already annoyed with Sally for booting his dad out.
Geoff looked smug as Faye left, with Tim venting at Sally once more and asking her if she was happy.
He couldn't see why Sally was doing it, fooled by his father as he continued to meddle.
