Coronation Street star Ellie Leach took to TikTok over the weekend to showcase her makeup skills.
But the 20-year-old's gorgeous transformation video was soon interrupted by Corrie fans who were desperate to know more about her on-screen character Faye Windass.
Ellie took to the viral video platform to document the various stages of her ‘girls night’ makeover as she went from natural beauty to total glamour queen in under 30 seconds.
As she brushed on the blush and added slick after slick of mascara, the soap star mimed along to Need To Know x Desperado by Altégõ Music as she hyped herself up for her night out on the town.
The final edit showed Ellie all dolled up as she sported a classy black ensemble featuring an oversized black blazer, a pair of black shorts and a lace bralette.
Ellie injected some colour into the all-black outfit by donning a pair of red heels, a red handbag and some matching red lipstick.
The gorgeous star was showered with compliments from her adoring fans who couldn’t quite believe their eyes after the incredible transformation.
A number of fans hijacked Ellie’s TikTok video with references to her Coronation Street character Faye Windass.
One Corrie viewer claimed that they would never be able to view Faye in the same way after seeing Ellie’s makeover.
“You are so stunning. I’ll never be able to imagine Faye in the same way again after this,” one fan commented.
“Faye Windass could never!! You are a goddess,” another fan echoed.
“Faye's a baddie since being in prison,” someone else joked.
Meanwhile, another disbelieving fan admitted that they couldn’t get over how mature Ellie looked in her transformation video.
“Wow you are so grown up. I swear the last time I saw you on TV you were 12,” they penned.
Elsewhere, more Coronation Street fans begged the soap star to make a long-awaited comeback.
Viewers last saw Faye in Weatherfield in April.
The troubled character was sentenced to prison for attacking Adam Barlow in a case of mistaken identity.
It’s clear that fans are missing Ellie’s presence on the show as they took the opportunity to beg her to come back in the comments.
“When are you going back to Corrie? It’s not the same without you,” wrote one fan.
“Miss you on Corrie. Hope you’re back soon,” someone else voiced.
“Faye could defo pull off this look. Come back,” another gushed.
Ellie has played the role of Faye since 2011.
