Coronation Street fans are fearing Geoff Metcalfe has done something bad to his ex-wife Elaine after Monday's scary episode.
She's gone missing after a terrifying showdown with her abusive ex-husband, who she fled almost 50 years ago.
Fearing he would kill her, she left one day and never returned, even leaving her baby son behind.
Fans learned last week she was the mother of Geoff's son Tim, and that Elaine was Geoff's first wife Phillipa - but she changed her name and remained in hiding.
Recently, fans saw Geoff control and manipulate his current wife Yasmeen Nazir for months, until she snapped and almost killed him.
She's in prison, still not completely believing that she was abused despite her loved ones trying to make her see the truth - as Geoff continues to feign innocence, and keep Tim and others on his side.
Tim didn't believe Elaine was his mother and ordered her to leave, and on Monday Elaine continued to try and help Yasmeen.
Avoiding Geoff, she reached out to Tim's wife Sally Metcalfe hoping she might help her.
Sally told Elaine to keep trying with Tim, and made is clear she was on her side.
But the moment Elaine had been dreading soon arrived, as she was tracked down by Geoff who backed her into corner out of sight.
He began threatening her, warning her away from Weatherfield and son Tim.
Elaine stood up to him though and refused to back down, preparing to reveal all on what he was really like all those years ago, and now.
But Geoff turned sinister, and began walking towards his terrified ex before the scene changed.
A little while later, Yasmeen's granddaughter Alya shared her concern after Elaine wasn't answering her phone and had vanished.
Pub owner Jenny then confessed she'd seen the pair together, unaware of who she was at the time.
Alya quizzed whether he might have done something to her, with boyfriend Ryan Connor not convinced he would go this far.
It was then that viewers got the biggest clue that something had happened though, as Geoff stepped out of his car with Elaine's phone in his hand.
Giving a sinister look, he dropped the sim card from the phone into a drain before looking around.
