Corrie's 'dapper' Alan Halsall says Queen was a 'happy customer' after Tyrone takes a look at her car

Tyrone Dobbs could only dream of getting up close to the Queen's personal car.

But actor Alan Halsall had just the opportunity when the monarch visited the Coronation Street set on Thursday.

The stars of the show lined the cobbles, which had been a red carpet, to welcome the Queen to the set after the soap celebrated its 60th anniversary in December.

And the cast excitedly shared the behind-the-scenes selfies and thoughts on the 'special' day.
