Corrie's 'cutie couple' share loved-up hot tub photo as they celebrate anniversary

They have had to delay their wedding due to the ongoing coronavirus restrictions, but Coronation Street's real-life couple Sally Carman and Joe Duttine haven't let it stop them celebrating their anniversary.

The lovebirds shared a hot-tub snap at the weekend as they toasted three years together.

Corrie's Abi Franklin actress Sally shared the photo on her Instagram account captioned: "Three year" and showing the duo looking adoringly into each other's eyes while the bubbles frothed.

Fans loved the snap, hailing them "Cutie pair" and "gorgeous couple".

One said: "I love you guys! Happy anniversary you both deserve so much happiness."

Another added: "Happy 3rd anniversary you two are so great together."

A third said: "A match made in heaven."

Meanwhile one fan has said Coronation Street should now consider turning them into an on-screen couple as well as off.

Although that would certainly ruffle feathers - as on the cobbles Abi is in a relationship with Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) while Joe is married to Kevin's ex-wife Sally (Sally Dynevor).

In real life, Sally and Joe have revealed that they've had to put their wedding plans on hold after further uncertainty about the easing of lockdown.

Sally told Loose Women last month how they postponed their planned December wedding after it became clear restrictions would not allow for their plans.

She said "We want to have a party, if there's only 15 people there we can't do that. So we thought if we defer it for a year we can hopefully get the wedding that we want."
