Corrie's creepy clone scene with Geoff leaves viewers having nightmares

Coronation Street viewers were horrified on at the beginning scene of Friday's episode, which was Yasmeen Nazir's nightmare of lots of different Geoff Metcalfe clones in different costumes.

Several clones of Geoff wore a police officer uniform and then his magician outfit as he waved a magic wand and made all the other Geoff's diappear.

It was then revealed that it was all in Yasmeen's imagination as she awoke from her horrible dream.

One viewer tweeted: "The start of the episode where yasmeen had that nightmare about Geoff scared me wtf #corrie ".

A fourth quipped: "Bloody hell, Freddie Krueger visiting you in a nightmare is bad enough but Jiggle It Geoff is on another level!!"

"One Geoff was bad enough," declared another.

Fans were also disgusted at Geoff as he somehow managed to sink even lower than before

The nasty character played by Ian Bartholomew was about to face Yasmeen in court as she faces charges of attempting to murder him.

But as Yasmeen spoke to her lawyer Imran about the upcoming trial, she suddenly clutched her chest and collapsed, suffering from a heart attack.

When Geoff found out that Yasmeen had the heart attack, he showed absolutely no sympathy and suggested she was faking it.

* Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm on ITV.
