Corrie's Colson Smith moves in with Ben Price after being left homeless

Coronation Street star Colson Smith is living with Ben Price after he was left homeless.

The actor, who plays Craig Tinker in the soap, lived with Jack P. Shepherd, 31, until the David Platt star ditched him to move in with girlfriend.

And he's now moved in with David's half-brother and fellow cobbles treader Ben, 47, who plays Nick Tilsley.

Colson, 20, announced the news on the podcast Sofa Cinema Club, which he makes with Jack and Ben.

He said: "I've moved in with Ben [Price].

"It's a little bit like the changing of the guard, the colour of troop or whatever it's called.

"You've handed me over."

Jack responded: "I've handed over the baton. I'm saying, 'I've had that for a year, you deal with that.'

"I've moved in with my girlfriend, thankfully."

Nick, explained: "It was like, 'The lease is up, you're having him.’”

Jack, who now lives with his girlfriend Hanni Treweek, previously said living with Colson was a "challenge".

He explained: "I have to teach him about life and things, and I do his washing.

"He's like my little project - my nickname is 'Dad'."
