Corrie's Chris Quinten throwing engagement party at strip club where he met fiancee

Former Coronation Street star Chris Quinten is throwing an engagement party at the strip club where he met his fiancee Robyn Delabarre .

The actor, who played Brian Tilsley on the ITV soap, met the stripper while she was working at The Secret Lounge, the club he manages in Hammersmith, west London.

They've now chosen the place as the venue for their celebrations.

According to The Sun Online , Chris shared a flyer inviting fans to join the happy couple at the party on July 3.

It stated: "Come and join us. We got engaged. Chris and Robyn.

Chris had been a household name in the 1980s thanks to his stint on the ITV soap where he played Gail Platt's husband.

Away from the cobbles he was previously married to talk show host Leeza Gibbons, 62, with who he shares daughter Jordan Alexandra, but the pair split just two years after they wed in 1989.

Robyn previously dated Love Island's tragic star Mike Thalassitis , who took his own life in March.
