Coronation Street’s Brooke Vincent is in mourning after her boyfriend’s beloved mum died.
Footballer Kean Bryan broke the devastating news to fans that his mum passed away last night.
The 23-year-old Sheffield United defender, who shares eight-month-old son Mexx with the Corrie actress, shared the news on Instagram alongside a precious photograph of his late mother.
Alongside the heartbreaking snap, the footballer explained he is thankful to his mum for shaping him as a person.
The shattered star wrote: “Yesterday we said our goodbyes to my beautiful Mum."
Kean continued by paying tribute to the wonderful woman who brought him into the world and taught him how to love.
He told her: "I am so thankful for everything you have done for our family.
“I am the man I am today because of you.
"I know our time was cut short but I am happy you’re now at peace. I promise to make you proud and look after our family.
Kean finished the heartbreaking tribute by telling his late mum to ‘fly high’.
“Fly high Mum, I love you so much”.
Although she hasn’t yet shared a tribute herself, Brooke took the time to support her boyfriend online by posting a golden heart emoji underneath his announcement.
Messages of love and support came flooding in from Kean's football teammates, as well as a number of comments from Brooke's Corrie co-stars.
Sacha Parkinson - who played Brooke's on-screen girlfriend Sian Powers in 'Corrie wrote: 'Kean I am so unbelievably sorry to hear this I'm sending you so much love.’
Meanwhile, Ellie Leach contributed by sharing a red heart emoji underneath the heartbreaking post.
Kean and Brooke have been together since 2016, with the pair moving in together the following year.
In October 2019 the Premier League player and soap star Brooke welcomed their beloved son Mexx.
Taking to Instagram to share the exciting news, Brooke penned: “'On Wednesday 23rd October at 8.14am Our Baby Boy Arrived.
“Mexx S J Bryan, you complete us.”
