Corrie's Asha vows to bring down boyfriend Corey in secret plan after Seb's murder

Coronation Street's Asha Alahan will secretly work against her boyfriend Corey Brent, according to new spoilers.

Amid fears the teen is being controlled by her vile partner, it appears she's on to him and desperate for him to face justice.

He was involved in the hate crime attack on Seb Franklin and Nina Lucas last week, with the couple targeted because of Nina's gothic appearance.

Corey, Kelly Neelan and their gang tormented the pair before chasing them and brutally beating them.

Seb and Nina were left fighting for their lives in hospital after the unprovoked attack, and in the fallout Nina will struggle to cope.

The loss of Seb and what happened to her will have a long-running impact, with her distressed over the fact she is unable to remember what happened.

Following an arrest in upcoming scenes, it appears Corey does not yet face justice - and Asha vows to change this.

As she continues to defend him and stands by him, she risks losing everyone around her who are convinced Corey is to blame.

She wants justice for ex Nina and tragic Seb, and she knows to do that she has to keep Corey's trust.

Her plan is to get him to confess in any way she can so that she has evidence to land him in trouble with the police, wanting him to pay for what he's done.

While her loved ones fear she's been sucked in by her boyfriend, who has been controlling towards her recently, she makes it clear to her brother that she knows what he's like, and she believes he was behind the attack like everyone else.

Aadi knows his twin better than anyone and can tell she's up to something, which leads to her admitting how much she really despises the vile teen, but is hoping if she stands by him he will slip up.

But as she sets her plan into motion, will he fall for it or will she be in danger?

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
