Corrie's Antony Cotton crying with laughter in 'jargon-buster' game with his mum

Corrie star Antony Cotton could barely speak for laughing during a game of jargon-buster with his mum.

Antony and his mum, Enid Dunn, have teamed up with Internet services company Plusnet to dish on their simple pleasures.

And the mother-son team decided to have a crack at some jargon-busting, given fancy words for simple things and having to decode them.

Geo-spatial engineer, jus and tomato jam all came up, only for Antony to roar with laughter at his mum's mispronunications.

Pronouncing the "T" in "geo-spatial", Enid looked baffled at the paper in front of her.

A red-faced Antony asked: "Do you think that word might be 'spatial'?"

"Well, OK, if that's how you say it," remarked Enid.

As Antony kept laughing, she scolded: "You're really getting on my nerves now, Antony.

"You're spoiling the game!"

Antony - who plays Sean Tully on the Cobbles - recently weighed in on his co-star Beverley Callard's I'm A Celebrity stint.

Beverley is currently battling the wet and wind in the series' Gwrych Castle in Wales.

Antony remarked: "The eating trial was a brilliant example of how resilient she is. She's done all kinds of different jobs.

"She's got stuck in and triumphed. It was an extraordinary trial, to get 10 stars and eat that horrendous muck. She's been brilliant. We're very, very proud of her."

And he even reckons she could make it to the final, saying on sister show The Daily Drop: "Beverley's a queen in her own right, I think they've all got a shot at winning, but I think the northern contingency has a really good shot this year.

"I wouldn't be surprised if that eating trial last night isn't representative of the final night in camp."

Beverley made waves with her announcement that she'd be quitting Corrie late last year.

Antony Cotton, said: “People say the best things in life are free, but for me the best things in life are simple. Keeping things plain and simple is a rule that I live by.

“The one thing that this last year has taught us is how important it is for things to be clear and understandable, from the way you live your life right down to the things you buy. For me, if something is advertised as ‘plug in and play’ I want it to do just that. That’ll Do.”

Sam Calvert, Director of Marketing at Plusnet, said: “At Plusnet we’re taking things back to basics for our customers who want genuinely simple, reliable broadband without the bells and whistles.

"We offer a basic product range so customers know they’re not paying for things they don’t want or need – and we make it clear and easy by sticking to the basics.”
