Corrie's Alina reported to Immigration as Fiz 'takes revenge' for Tyrone affair

In upcoming scenes on Coronation Street, Tyrone Dobbs and Fiz Brown (Jennie McAlpine) split over Tyrone's cheating scandal with Alina Pop after the two shared a steamy kiss.

And as someone reports Alina (Ruxandra Porojnicu) to Immigration for tax evasion - is it Fiz taking revenge on Alina?

Tyrone (Alan Halsall) heads off to work whilst Fiz starts packing for their caravan holiday, and in the street, Tyrone explains to Alina that it was Fiz’s idea she should move away, not his.

Having found out from Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) what Tyrone said, Fiz rails at him for his behaviour.

As Tyrone packs up the car, he spots an Immigration Enforcement van outside the salon flat and races over.

Alina explains that they are raiding the premises as someone reported her for tax evasion. Tyrone accuses Fiz of shopping Alina to Immigration after she threatened her when they admitted to kissing.

Tyrone is furious with Gemma, while Fiz rounds on Tyrone, furious that he accused her of shopping Alina to the authorities. Fiz looks Tyrone in the eye and demands to know how he feels about Alina, and Tyrone admits he is in love with her.

Having barely slept, a weary Fiz explains to Chesney Brown that it is not just about Alina, but her and Tyrone’s relationship died a long time ago.

Tyrone thanks Kevin Webster for putting him up and assures him that he made the right decision leaving Fiz.

Is this really it for the couple, or can they forgive and forget?

Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone, recently revealed he is dreading the feedback from fans who have taken his storyline a little too literally.

“I’m sure I’ll get clubbed round the ear in Tesco a few times for it, but these are the stories we want to be involved with and I’m glad to be a part of it,” he said.

“I hope that people are spitting out their cup of tea at half-seven on a Monday night, saying, ‘Ooh, what’s he doing now?’"

Alan said he was “shocked” when ITV bosses revealed that they wanted nice-but-dim Tyrone to become a love cheat.

But he said that he and Jennie had talked everything through – and now they can’t wait to portray the warring lovers on-screen.

“It’s a controversial storyline,” Alan admitted. “It did come as a bit of surprise.

“Jennie thinks everyone will be on Tyrone’s side. She always says I could get away with murder – but I don’t think he will this time. I don’t think he’ll get away with it.

“He will definitely be portrayed as the bad lad and rightly so. These feelings have come upon him without meaning, but he’s put himself in that position.

“We will see the devastation to Fiz but also the children, and I think people relate heavily to that.

“As a character, it’s fantastic. We want to be part of big stories.”
