Corrie's Alan Halsall responds to Tyrone and Alina portrait as relationship is blasted by fans

Coronation Street viewers could not believe their eyes during their latest trip to Weatherfield - and it won't take fans long to figure out what we mean.

Alina Pop has been spotted adding new decorative piece to the flat she shares with new boyfriend Tyrone Dobbs and pal Emma Brooker.

But some may argue that she has taken it a step too far this time - by purchasing a very large portrait of herself and lover Tyrone.

The racy piece of art showed mechanic Tyrone as viewers have never seen him before in the car-themed photoshoot.

Tyrone was dressed in a pair of ripped denim shorts and smeared in engine oil while Alina stole the show in a cropped animal print top and split-to-the-thigh skirt as they both gave the camera their best sultry poses.

The beautician was overjoyed when it arrived at the flat while Tyrone and Emma seemed less convinced.

And Corrie viewers certainly weren't sure.

But Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone, has had his say.

The official Coronation Street Instagram page shared the image of the portrait and said: "We're speechless," before asking: "What do you think of Alina's new artwork?"

Alan was among the first to comment, writing: "New profile pic," alongside a laughing face emoji and another which suggested he really wasn't sure.

The actor said the same when he shared the post to his own Instagram story.

But fans were also quick to have their say on Alina and Tyrone - and many disapprove.

"They’ve been together 2 minutes, it’s getting too much," one commented.

Another blasted: "Worst couple and storyline in coronation street history."

"Mid life crisis.. right there," a third joked.

A fourth added: "This is a trainwreck. Can't bear to watch, but can't look away. Tyrone will come to his senses when the novelty wears off. The question is, will Fiz take him back? And if she does, will she ever be able to trust him again?"
