Corrie's Adam and Imran held at gunpoint as stalker terror leads to discovery

Corrie's Adam Barlow and Imran Habeeb face fresh terror next week on the ITV soap, as they are held at gunpoint.

Armed police storm the building, following a tip off from a mystery character.

Coronation Street spoilers reveal the moment the men are grilled over claims of a firearm being in the premises, leading to a police search.

It comes amid a mystery stalker tormenting Adam, with the latest attack seeing his windscreen smashed.

Adam believes it's the work of Jeremy Bremner, a man who holds a grudge with the lawyer over a past case.

He tracks him down and has it out with him, accusing him of leading an intimidation campaign against him and his family.

This leaves his wife Sarah unnerved that he's provoked Jeremy, who admits to keying his car - but denies having anything to do with the windscreen being smashed, or the recent graffiti.

It's after this incident though that things worsen, and armed police storm the office leaving Adam and Imran terrified.

When they arrive, the officers claim to have had reports of a firearm being in the building, and this is what they are looking for.

It's not known where the tip off has come from, but Adam can't help but fear the worst.

After turning the place upside down, the officers find nothing and leave - but Adam is not prepared to let this go.

Imran and Sarah blame Adam for antagonising Jeremy, while Adam insists on reporting him to the police over the false gun report.

The turmoil doesn't stop there though, and throughout the week he's horrified by more disturbances - leading to horrifying death threats.

From silent phone calls to funeral flowers, and even a sinister note, the mystery tormentor breaks into the house in upcoming episodes.

But who is behind it all, and what do they want from Adam?
