Corrie's Abi exposes Ben and Imran's setup as she vows to get revenge and custody

Coronation Street's Abi Franklin will attempt to take her power back next week as former fling Imran Habeeb continues to shut her out.

New ITV spoilers reveal that Imran will reassure Toyah Battersby that Abi (Sally Carman) will not be coming to a naming party for baby Alfie, after Leanne suggested they throw one.

Of course, Imran (Charlie de Melo) is trying his best to make it up to Toyah (Georgia Taylor) - after he cheated on her with Abi - but Abi tells him he can stuff his naming party.

Abi is already fuming with Imran after he hired a private investigator named Ben to find any dirt he could on her, to use it in court.

After wrongly believing she was back on drugs, Imran has made it his mission to stop her having custody - with social services already questioning if she can look after her baby, because of her past.

Clearly paying dirty, Ben takes photos of drug dealer Dean trying to sell drugs to Abi - and even though she turned him down - Ben tells Imran he is prepared to lie in court and state that Abi was dealing or buying drugs in a shocking set-up.

Abi follows Ben and ends up filming him as he buys drugs (ITV)

During a tense exchange in Imran's office, Abi tells him that once she’s proved that Ben was lying about her, she’ll be cutting Imran out of Alfie’s life once and for all.

She later films Ben as he buys some drugs, but Ben clocks what she's doing and confronts her.

However, Abi stands strong and gives Ben a choice: either he admits that Imran paid him to lie or she’ll share her video of him buying drugs with his boss and the police.

But will Ben give in to Abi's demands? And if he does, where will that leave Imran in the custody battle for Alfie?
