Corrie love twist for Daisy and Jenny as fans cast doubt over newcomer Leo

Coronation Street is lining up a love twist for Daisy Midgley and Jenny Connor.

Viewers saw a newcomer in Weatherfield during the soap's double bill on ITV on Wednesday night.

Leo arrived at the Rovers for a quiet pint as he prepared to begin work on the sinkhole at the Platt's.

As soon as she set eyes on him, Jenny was trying to get Daisy to speak to him.

It came after Daisy was told by Daniel Osbourne - much to Jenny's annoyance - that she was pursuing the dad-of-one.

Daisy refused to listen to Jenny, so the landlady got involved herself and started chatting to Leo.

Fans think something else is going on - and that Daisy looks set to face another rejection.

"Maybe Jenny has found herself a younger man #Corrie," one tweeted.

Another said: "I think he likes you Jenny #Corrie."

They could just be right if next week's soap spoilers are anything to go by.

On Monday night, Corrie viewers will see Leo, played by Joe Frost, call at the Rovers with a bunch of flowers.

As he approaches the bar, he overhears Jenny telling Daisy that she’s enjoying her freedom and is done with relationships.

While Daisy admires Leo's flowers and concedes that it might be worth giving him a chance, Daisy discovers the card that came with the flowers.

And they're not for her.

She is quick to point out that the flowers were meant for Jenny not her and Leo obviously fancies her.

Jenny is flattered when Leo invites her out for a drink, but elsewhere, Johnny tells Carla he feels his life has lost its purpose and is thrilled when she offers him a consultancy job at the factory.

As he chats to an old business contact with Carla at the Bistro, he is shocked to see a glammed-up Jenny walk in with Leo.

Leo continued to flirt with Jenny, telling her finds her much more attractive than Daisy.

And when Johnny calls at the Rovers hoping to have a drink with Jenny, he finds her entertaining Leo.

Fans, however, were not completely happy with the latest pub scenes.

"Good gracious. Can't a man have a drink in a pub without Jenny & Daisy perving all over him. Stop it. It's embarrassing #Corrie," tweeted one.

Another shared: "@itvcorrie #Corrie Leave off Jenny!"

And viewers aren't sure on Leo's intentions either.

"Bet that Leo will be trouble #Corrie," one said.

Another tweeted: "That new bloke dosnt seem legit I'd watch your step Jenny #Corrie."

"Liking Leo - hope he isn't a serial killer/fraudster/twat #Corrie," a third added.
