Corrie horror as Harvey issues sinister rape threat to Leanne in dark scenes

Evil drugs lord Harvey Gaskell traps Leanne Battersby in the bistro after escaping from prison in chilling Coronation Street scenes.

Leanne, who was forced into witness protection as she helped to bring Harvey down, is terrified to come face to face with him after he tracks her down.

Alone in the bistro Leanne, dressed as Morticia for Halloween, is cornered by Harvey as he goes after revenge in next week's Corrie Super Soap Week.

He tells her that if she doesn't have his aunt Sharon Bentley in his phone, he'd settle on killing both her adopted son Simon Barlow and sister Toyah.

Then sick Harvey looks closely at Leanne as he continues his threats.

"It’s a shame you tried to ruin my life,’ he says, inching closer to a quaking Leanne.

"Under other circumstances I’d have given you one.

"I mean, you’ve got a pulse, haven’t you? eh? For now."

Leanne is then frozen in terror as the gangster moves his hand over her body.

As she gasps in fear his attention then turns back to Leanne's mobile phone as he sends Toyah and Simon a text, telling them to get to the bistro at once.

The twisted character, played by Will Mellor, escapes after he deliberately injures himself in prison and demands to go to hospital.

At the same time Dev Alahan and his twins Aadi and Asha set off for their trip but as the storm gets worse they get lost on a country road and their way is blocked by a fallen tree.

In the prison van carrying Harvey, the guard pulls a knife and the van swerves into the Alahan’s stationary car.

Harvey pulls himself out of the van into the torrential rain.

After surviving the crash he makes his way back to the street, hellbent on revenge as the Horror-nation Street celebrations are well under way.
