He's become a firm favourite with Corrie fans since he arrived on the famous cobbles in October last year, and young rising star Jude Riordan has announced 'that's a wrap' on his character.
Jude's character Sam Blakeman has won hearts of diehard Coronation Street viewers after he discovered that Nick Tilsley was his father.
While getting to know his dad he had a rocky start with Nick's partner Leanne Battersby as she grieved the loss of her three-year-old son Oliver.
Then the youngster had a new heartbreaking storyline when his mum Natasha was gunned down and killed in a case of mistaken identity in October.

Sam is so grief-stricken he has been unable to speak since the Super Soap Week tragedy.
Taking to Twitter Jude announced: "And that's a WRAP on Sam Blakeman for 2021.
"Thank you everyone for supporting me. Think I've had the best year of my life!"
But he's just saying goodbye for now while he takes a break for Christmas and his thankfully his character will be back in the new year.

Viewers of the ITV soap were left in bits when Sam went to see his mum to say a final goodbye.
In devastating scenes little Sam told her how much she meant to him and how he was worried he didn't express that he loved her enough when she was alive.
