Corrie fans think they've figured out the identity of Imran's mystery liaison as Sabeen ramps up blackmail

Coronation Street fans think they've figured out who Imran Habeeb spent the night with on the night of the trial verdict.

The defeated lawyer was seen getting into the back of a taxi with ex-wife Sabeen after foster daughter Kelly Neelan was found guilty of murdering Seb Franklin.

Viewers didn't see another thing until a broken Imran returned home the next day.

After being confronted by Nina Lucas, Imran was quickly told about Kelly’s suicide attempt in prison by girlfriend Toyah Battersby's sister, Leanne.

When he eventually united with Toyah, Imran lied about his whereabouts and that he slept in his office.

And he has continued to lie since.

When confronted by Toyah about he closeness to Sabeen, he once again made excused about his whereabouts on the night of the trial verdict.

During Monday night's double bill, Sabeen revealed that it wasn't her he stayed the night with - and is blackmailing him in order to get his help with Harvey Gaskell's case.

With Sabeen no longer on the cards as Imran's secret liaison, Corrie fans believe they know who it is.

"OMG Imran slept with Abi didn't he!! #Corrie," tweeted one.

Another said: "If Imran and Abi slept together, I'd be so gutted for Kevin and Toyah. #Corrie."

"Is Abi the one Imran spent the night with then," a third suggested.

"Who was Imran with? Abi or Laura [Neelan]," a fourth commented.

Another shared: "So Imran didn’t sleep with Sabeen? Reckon it was Abi maybe that’s the reason she suddenly dumped Kevin and went away as she feels guilty or even worse he slept with Laura #Corrie."

Next week, Imran is forced to come clean about Sabeen’s blackmail plan and his one-night fling to a shocked Toyah.
