Peter Barlow was the centre of attention at Daniel Osbourne and Sinead Tinker's wedding after sporting a smart new look on Coronation Street.
Ken Barlow's troubled son has ditched the salty sea dog look for a shorter and sharper beard, and it certainly won the admiration of Sinead's mum Arlene.
Arlene draped herself all over Peter and likened him to a 'young Robert De Niro.'
"You're the absolute spit of him," she cooed.
"Same deep eyes, same glossy hair."
"You may be a bigamist, adulterer and alcoholic, but you are an absolute snack," said one fan on Twitter.
"Peter Barlow in a suit is his best look," said another.
Peter Barlow fans noticed that his salt and pepper beard had been growing longer to suit his role as a former sailor with his own boat The Lost Buoy, which he was painstakingly doing up to sail around the Carribbean.
But his dream was shattered in February when Roy Cropper accidentally set fire to the vessel while sleepwalking.

"Peter Barlow has a strong beard!" commented another.
"Peter Barlow definitely has the best beard in the soap game!!!" said another Corrie watcher.
It seems Peter has had a makeover after reuniting with his ex Carla Connor, who has been fighting back to health after suffering a mental breakdown following the collapse of her beloved Underworld factory which caused the death of Rana Habeeb.
Recovering alcoholic Peter hit the bottle again after Carla disappeared and was found sleeping rough, but it seems he's getting his life back on track again after she was coaxed back to Weatherfield with support from friends and family.
