Corrie fans spot something odd in Alahan's car crash horror snaps

Coronation Street fans have spotted something rather odd as the first images of the Alahan's horror car crash were shared.

The ITV soap shared the first look at the shocking scenes which are due to air this week in a series of episodes dubbed "Super Soap Week".

Dev, Aadi and Asha will be seen setting off on a family trip.

On Friday, viewers saw Aadi want to take his dad away after being awkwardly rejected by Natasha.

But Dev invited Asha along too, leaving Aadi a bit irked.

And this week, the family look set to be ripped apart as Dev makes a decision to save Asha and leave Aadi in the wreckage of his car after they are locked off the road by a prison van carrying Harvey Gaskell.

Undeterred, Harvey pulls himself out of into the torrential rain and prepares to escape.

Meanwhile, as smoke seeps into the car, Dev has to decide whether to help Asha or Aadi.

Believing Asha to be in more danger, he goes to her aid and drags her away from the car just before it explodes.

The emergency services finally arrive at the crash site but are they in time to save Aadi?

An emotional Dev will later be seen sitting at Aadi’s bedside, willing him to wake up.

The first look images show Asha pulled to safety, but as Dev turns around, the car bursts into flames.

After the ITV soap posted the shock images on Instagram, Corrie fans could see Dev being blow to the floor by the explosion.

However, others thought Dev looked like an iconic superhero.

"Why is Batman lying on the floor," asked one.

A fan added: "Looks like Batman in corner."

"I thought that was Batman," a third laughed.

But that wasn't the main thing they spotted.

Another said in response: "It looks just like my boy ( a cavapoo )! Good spot."

"Can anyone else see a dogs face in flames?" a third asked.

A fourth echoed: "Why does that fire look like a dog."
