Coronation Street fans were stunned on Wednesday evening as the truth about Curtis Delamere came out.
The first episode began with Curtis confronting his fiancée Emma Brooker after she contacted one of his relatives to tell them about her upcoming wedding.
Curtis had previously told her that he doesn't have a good relationship with his family, but Emma was keen to reach out anyway.
She also insisted that she wanted to accompany Curtis for his latest hospital appointment - but he didn't seem keen on that either.
As the day continued, Curtis was seen getting more and more frustrated as he kept getting a phone call from a mystery person.

Later on at the hospital, Curtis appeared panicked as a member of staff at the hospital informed him that his usual doctor wasn't available.
Despite trying to run off, Emma persuaded him to see the other specialist anyway - but it wasn't good news for Curtis.
"It's my heart," Curtis told the doctor when he asked what was wrong.
As Curtis explained that he must have seen his notes, the medical professional replied: "Of course, and as I said last time we met, there's nothing we can do for you.

"There's nothing we can do, your heart, as we've said many times before, is in A1 condition. There is absolutely 100% nothing wrong with your heart," he added.
Viewers were shocked after watching the scene and took to Twitter to comment and ask if Curtis has Munchausen's syndrome.
One person tweeted: "Curtis is disgusting lying about having a heart condition. Hopefully he gets exposed before he scams poor Emma #corrie."

Another posted: "Holy s**t had a feeling Curtis was lying.. #Corrie."
A third person claimed: "#Corrie Curtis is a hypochondriac scammer."
Someone else asked: "Is Curtis a hypercondriac or possibly munchousens syndrome Thinking face #corrie (sic)."
Wednesday's second episode saw Curtis continue lying to Emma after the doctor ordered him to see a psychologist as he believes he's suffering from a Factitious Disorder.

Instead of telling Emma what really happened, Curtis claimed that his condition could be "manageable".
However, he was stunned when his father Neville showed up on his doorstep and threatened to tell Emma about Curtis' lies.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
