Coronation Street fans were open-mouthed over a shocking twist after branding Curtis Delamere a 'liar' and a 'scum bag' during the soap's tense wedding drama.
Viewers were convinced that Curtis had stolen £100,000 meant for a fund in memory of Steve McDonald and Leanne Battersby's son Oliver.
A drunk Steve had handed his future son-in-law his bank card and PIN, asking him to transfer the £100k they raised to Oliver’s charity account.

And Corrie fans were outraged when they heard the groom-to-be on the phone booking a trip abroad and were convinced that he was about to do a runner with the cash in Monday night's double bill.

It appeared he was about to jilt his bride Emma Brooker at the altar.
Then when he arrived late for the ceremony he was taken in for questioning by policeman Craig Tinker on suspicion of stealing the mone after Steve raised the alarm when the charity never received it.
Even his loyal bride, who was sympathetic after she found out on Friday that he wasn't dying from a heart condition and had a factitious disorder in which someone deceives others by appearing sick, found herself unable to stand by him.
And she told him to pack his bags after he pleaded that the trip he'd booked was their honeymoon.

Fans watching at home were filled with rage.
@ChrisHe911 tweeted: "Curtis paying for a honeymoon with stolen charity money? Scumbag."
@Justin_rafferty said: "Can't stand from lying Curtis. He's going down."
And @Greg_Phillips_ said: "He’s a wrong’un that Curtis."
But there was a huge shock when Steve later received a call to say that there had been a 'technical fault' and the money had come through after all.
As Emma asked her dad for reassurance that he had done the right thing, a guilty-looking Steve told her that she had.
And fans were left on a cliffhanger wondering if she will find out the truth.
@unsworth1live tweeted with screaming emojis: "Steve Isn’t going to tell Emma the truth about the money. Ironic right!"
@toniearlybird gasped: "Oh, what a mess all round!"
And @GrianneDoherty1 exclaimed: "OMG so after all that the money was just delayed by a technical fault really? Poor Emma."
