Corrie fans were delighted to see Carla Connor back on the cobbles with her beau Peter Barlow after weeks away.
The fragile factory boss made a tentative return home to Weatherfield after receiving treatment for her psychosis on Coronation Street .
The Underworld owner has been at a treatment facility in Carlisle since May, and viewers celebrated the sight of her being driven back onto the famous street by her man.
Peter has been supporting his ex wife following her breakdown - and fans have given the couple the nickname 'Carter.'
"Ahhh omg I’m screaming they’re back!!" rejoiced one fan on Twitter.
"FINALLY QUEEN CARLA IS BACK," shouted another.
"Yerrrsssss Carter back," commented another fan.
And another said: "I’ve missed Carter."
Viewers noticed that Carla, played by Alison King, looked 'glowing.'
Others commented that the break with Carla seemed to have done Peter 'the world of good' too because he appears to be sporting a tan.
"Quite the tan he’s achieved" said one fan.
Carla went for treatment after tragic Rana Habeeb came 'back from the dead' to talk to her after she blamed herself for the collapse of her beloved factory.
Rana, played by Bhavna Limbachia, tragically died in March when the roof caved in on top of the bride-to-be.
Racked with guilt, Carla fell seriously ill and went on the run as the finger of blame was pointed at her for the tragedy.
She eventually returned to the street after hearing how much her loved-ones missed her, and turned up in her good friend Roy Cropper's flat. But it was clear she needed professional help.
