Corrie fans 'rumble' Toyah's lawyer's real identity - and she's got a DNA link to Shona

Coronation Street fans have worked out a link between Toyah Habeeb's lawyer and Shona Platt.

Toyah (Georgia Taylor) has come under fire after she was driving the car which crashed with her and husband Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) in, causing him to tragically pass away as his lies over Abi Webster (Sally Carman) unravelled.

Abi had slept with Imran, and got pregnant with baby Alfie - but in a cruel twist of fate, the baby was taken off her as Imran lied about her drug addiction to the court, hoping he and Toyah could finally have the family they wanted.

Toyah and Imran initially split over the news of the baby, but soon reunited and decided they would be best to bring up Alfie, with Imran keen to do whatever he could to ensure it happened that way.

But after the crash, which caused Imran's death, Toyah has found herself being interviewed by police over the crash, and as a result, she was given a lawyer who has been helping her with her case.

However, fans have spotted a likeness between her and Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) and now they're sure they know how the two might be related - and it's through DNA.

"#Corrie that Toyah’s lawyer looks so much like Shona I bet they’ll turn out to be sisters!" one fan wrote, whilst another penned: "Could be Julia Goulding’s exit storyline too if she’s in shock with finding out."

A third shared: "This lawyer sounds like Daisy and looks like Shona #Corrie."

Julia recently debuted her baby bump at the British Soap Awards, where she admitted to OK! magazine it had been tough to keep the baby news a secret, as she thanked the costume department on the soap for helping her on set.

"It's been quite hard to keep it secret and they've dug out my maternity clothes from three years ago, so it's all systems go again," she said, "It's generally up to the director or costume department to sort of try and conceal it a bit. Obviously, I'm not as big, I'm used to being a lot bigger when I had [first son] Franklin. So yeah, it's been alright so far, we've managed to keep it to ourselves."
