Coronation Street fans are convinced the ITV soap could be lining up a major baby twist for Carla Connor.
The character is tipped to fall pregnant, and possibly be caught up in a paternity storyline after a fling.
She recently cheated on partner Peter Barlow after they hit tough times, before she confessed all.
But what she didn't tell Peter was that the mystery man was his own nephew Adam Barlow.
Adam is now desperate to make sure Carla stays quiet, both regretting their night of passion.
But fans are convinced a twist could see their actions return to haunt them.
Viewers suspect Carla will fall pregnant, and that Adam could be the father.
Some fans even questioned if a paternity storyline will focus on the three characters, exposing Adam's betrayal.
Taking to Twitter after the scenes aired, viewers shared their thoughts on what could be explosive scenes for the family.
One fan wrote: "Carla will be pregnant with Adams baby."
Another agreed: "5 weeks later and Carla discovers she's pregnant."
A third added: "Calling it now, Carla will get pregnant with Adam's baby and this will be apart of the 60th anniversary ep."
This was echoed by another viewer who said: "I genuinely think Carla's gonna get pregnant by Adam. I don't think they'd have had that scene with Peter saying things about her not being a mother otherwise..."
Another tweeted: "So Carla's gonna find out she's pregnant on Christmas day, that causes Adam to get involved wanting to be part of it all - step up and be a dad etc - that's how Peter finds out it was Adam. We have a who's the daddy 9 months, and eventually turns out it's Peters..."
