Coronation Street fans reacted in horror as teen killer Corey Brent literally got away with murder in shocking soap scenes on Friday night.
Fans were open-mouthed as cocky Corey walked away from court as a distraught Kelly Neelan was sent down for the murder of Seb Franklin - and couldn't quite believe what they were seeing.
Seb's grieving mum Abi made a dash to court after Corey's arrogant dad Stefan called the police on her.

Sadly she arrived just in time to see her son's killer boasting over his freedom.
As Corey gloated about going for a curry with his dad to celebrate, he turned to Abi and WINKED - and it sent soap fans into meltdown.
Fuming fans took to Twitter to complain about the shock verdict.

One fan said: "What an absolute travesty if Coronation Street writers really think there isn't going to be outcry disbelief"
A second fumed: "Arggghhh so angry at #Corrie "
A third added: "What an actual joke Corrie everyone could see Corey was putting an act on, raging".
A fourth pointed out: "No way would one person in that court room not question how a small young girl could over power a training footballer to get to and kill a builder with her own hands (and feet)! Insane!"

Earlier Corey's dad had pulled the rug from under Abi, who confronted him in her mission to prove that Stefan had bought his son's innocence through bribery.
But he revealed he knew he was being recorded and the police arrived to arrest her after he claimed that she was trespassing on his property.
Corrie fans have been gripped by the dramatic courtroom scenes as both Corey and Kelly pleaded their innocence over the death of Seb who passed away in May from his catastrophic injuries.
In harrowing flashbacks viewers saw that Corey, played by Maxiumus Evans, was soley responsible for Seb's death in the ITV soap, repeatedly kicking the young builder, while Kelly tried to hold him back.
Seb and his girlfriend Nina Franklin were chased by a gang of teenagers led by Corey after they went for a walk along the canal.
Goth Nina was targeted over the way she looks in a storyline inspired by the real-life tragedy of Sophie Lancaster who died after a similar hate attack back in 2007.

The ITV soap worked with the The Sophie Lancaster Foundation on the heartbreaking story in memory of Sophie.
She and her boyfriend Robert Maltby were set upon because they were members of the goth subculture.
By working with Corrie the Foundation, launched by Sophie's mum Sylvia to challenge prejudice and intolerance towards people from alternative subcultures, is hoping to encourage more people to come forward to report hate crime.
