Coronation Street fans are fearing for the future of Tyrone Dobbs and Fiz Stape following a scene featuring a scantily clad Alina Pop.
A flustered Tyrone Dobbs made a swift exit from the house after his new lodger emerged downstairs wearing nothing but a skimpy towel.
Alina, played by Ruxandra Porojnicu, is staying with Tyrone, his partner Fiz, their children Hope and Ruby and Tyrone's fearsome gran Evelyn Plummer, had thought that the family was out.
"I said I'd meet pint for a Kev," said a hot and bothered Tyrone, making for the door.
Afterwards he confided in Fiz: "When she came tripping downstairs in that towel it wasn't much bigger than a flannel. "I didn't know where to put my face."
And he was amazed when Fiz, played by Jennie McAlpine, replied casually: "She's continental, they like walking around in the nuddy.
"You'll have to get used to it. Give it a week and we'll all be at it."
Fiz explained that she was just joking and had a word with Alina on his behalf.
"Put Tyrone out of his misery, he doesn't want to see you in a towel again, said no straight man ever."
Alina then came out on top by retorting smartly: "It won't happen again. From now on I'll borrow Evelyn's housecoat."
Fans are now predicting an affair could be on the cards.
"Fiz and Tyrone arguing remind me of Jack and Vera of old... I really do think Alina and Tyrone will start an affair," said one fan on Twitter.
"Alina and Tyrone will have a bit of a thing I bet you," tweeted another.
"Why do I feel that there's gonna be a storyline where Tyrone and Alina get together?" asked another.
"Reckon Alina will be in the bed with Tyrone anytime soon," commented another viewer.
Fans were horrified when Tyrone, played by Alan Halsall, had a fling with neighbour Gemma Winter in 2018.
And his relationship with Fiz was again put to the test when nanny Jade Rowan tried it on with him.
Alina first appeared on the soap in April 2019 as part of a harrowing human trafficking storyline.
She was a victim of a slavery ring which made her work at a nail bar against her will.
After the truth about her enslavement came to light Alina returned to Romania.
The character returned to Weatherfield last February and has settled into life on Coronation Street working as a telesales agent at the Underworld factory.
