Corrie fans point out problem in David scene as character 'disappears'

Coronation Street fans have pointed out a problem following the latest scenes on the soap.

And it's related to a character that has 'disappeared'.

It's been a busy week so for the Platts, with David having to deal with Max's difficult behaviour.

It started with David and Max's new teacher Daniel Osbourne sitting down for mediation with Weatherfield High's new deputy head - who just so happened to be familiar to viewers.

He accused Max of stealing his wallet and while back on the street, grabbed him to search him - only for David to see.

But sticking by Max, a fuming David wanted Daniel sacked.

He did, however, have to backtrack later when he discovered Max was trying to use Daniel's bank cards at the corner shop.

Back at home, David forced Max into handing over the wallet and made the decision to drop the complaint.

But Max seemed pleased that his dad lied for him and got him off the hook.

Then at the beginning of Wednesday night's episode, Corrie fans pointed out a problem, the Liverpool Echo reports.

David stood at the bottom of the stairs and called for Max and his half-sister Lily to come down as it was time for school.

But she never appeared on-screen.

"Anyone else noticed that Lilly has disappeared or?" one viewer asked.

Another fan pointed out: "Lily...she's not there David."

"She'll come back aged 16," a third joked after Max recently returned, played by a new actor.

A fourth laughed: "What David and Shona don’t know is that Lily is stuck in Narnia.

"Next week Lily will be played by Miriam Margolyes but David and Shona won't notice at all," another joked.
