After posing for a 'sexy' portrait with his new girlfriend, Tyrone Dobbs had another surprise for Coronation Street fans.
The mechanic appeared with a radical new look and soap watchers couldn't help laughing along with his battleaxe gran Evelyn Plummer.
Tyrone, played by Alan Halsall, swapped his overalls for a pair of ripped skinny jeans worn with slip-on shoes.
Acid-tongued Evelyn didn't hold back with the insults and one-liners.

"What pray do you think you look like?" she asked him bluntly.
"I should mind they don't cut off your blood supply," she said about the jeans.
As his lover Alina Pop defended the look, saying he looked 'great', Evelyn continued with the insults.
"The top you'll have to wash on a cold wash because there's definitely no room for shrinkage," she sniped about the fitted new T-shirt he was wearing with the jeans.
Corrie viewers took to Twitter to have their say.
"I’M HOWLING!" shouted one.
"Evelyn is spot on about Tyrone. He looks like he’s trying to be 17 again."

"Tight ripped jeans go Tyrone. Evelyn is ripping him to shreds," said another
"No decent woman would let you wear slip on shoes and jeans too short," anothe commented.
"Tyrone’s skinny jeans" tweeted another with a laughing face emoji with tears of joy.
"Or are they tights?!"
"Tyrone you look stupid," said another.
"Tyrone can hardly walk in those tight jeans," another noticed.
Last week viewers were cringing as Alina added to their love nest with a racy piece of art to hang on the wall.
Tyrone posed in ripped denim shorts and smeared in engine oil.
And his girlfriend shot a smouldering look for the camera in a cropped animal print top and split-to-the-thigh skirt.
Alina completed the sultry look with a pair of love heart pattern tights
The couple got together earlier this year after Alina lodged with Tyrone and his ex Fiz Stape.
Tyrone realised he no longer loved Fiz, played by Jennie McAlpine, and left her for younger woman Alina, played by Ruxandra Porojnicu.
