He's been creeping out Corrie fans for months and Geoff Metcalfe gave another insight into his disturbed mind in tonight's episode.
Geoff, played by Ian Bartholomew, left Rovers Return landlady Jenny Connor stunned when he told her she reminded him of his mother, went on to tell a seriously creepy anecdote and then threatened her in Friday's Coronation Street.
The magician, who viewers know has been abusing his wife Yasmeen, revealed his dark side when Jenny called him 'Geoffrey' as she sold him a bottle of wine.
"My mum used to call me that when I was in trouble," he told her.
And to Jenny's horror he added: "You've a look of my mother actually."
Noticing her face fall after his comment, he told her: "Don't be offended when I say that, she was a thing of rare beauty my mother."
Geoff took the story to a cringeworthy new level by adding his mother had a "a wolf whistle with every step" as he leeringly watched Jenny walk to the till.
And he continued to tell his friend and neighbour that no other woman had matched up to his mother in Geoff's eyes.
"Except Yasmeen of course," he added.
Just as viewers hoped the awkward chat had ended, he told Jenny for no apparent reason: "I'm going to hug the life out of you when these restrictions are lifted."
And as she stood staring in disbelief he said cheerily: "Bye for now Jenny, or should I say mummy?"
He told her he was just 'pulling her leg' but viewers think otherwise.
"Weird Geoff. Just plain weird," tweeted one viewer.
"Mummy?????? WHAT," exclaimed another.
"Geoff’s promise to hug the life out of Jenny, is that a sign of things to come?" asked another worried fan.
"Geoff's clearly seriously twisted. Calling Jenny 'mummy' now really?" commented another.
Yasmeen is currently awaiting trial for attempted murder after she fought back at bullying Geoff with a broken wine bottle as part of a harrowing coercive control storyline.
The grandmother suffered a heart attack as she prepared to appear in court, and Geoff's ex wife has since come forward to claim she had also been abused by him and fled the family home leaving behind their son Tim.
His ex has now said she'll give evidence to help Yasmeen fight for her freedom.
