Coronation Street viewers think Abi Franklin could turn to murder to avenge her son Seb after he was killed in a hate attack by thugs who also attacked Nina Lucas.
Abi has been left seething as the police appeared to be dragging their feet on the case to find Seb's killer, made all the more difficult because Nina cannot recall the incident.
And on Monday's first episode, Abi threatened to "get justice for Seb herself", leaving many fans concerned she will end up in prison herself for attacking Corey.
However, Corey Brent and Kelly Neelan were finally arrested for the wicked crime - but will they be charged?
Speaking to a police officer in their home, Kevin Webster asked her: "Have you actually made any arrests?"
The officer replied: "Not as yet, but I promise you we will find who did this to your son. Is there anything you'd like to ask me?"
Abi snapped: "Yeah, why haven't you arrested Corey, or Kelly, or any of their mates?"
"Have you interviewed them? Even if they didn't do it they might have seen something, or they might know who did it," she added.
As Kevin then said the police were doing all they could, Abi snarled: "They have done nothing.... If I want justice for Seb I am going to have to get it myself."
One viewer tweeted: "Abi will bring Corey to justice if she gers her hands on him. #Corrie ".
"I despise Corey so much! Hope Abi finds out the truth and makes him suffer #corrie," begged another.
"Abi better kill Corey he gets everything he deserves #Corrie," added a third.
"Can Abi just wallop Corey one please? He's the one who should be in that hospital bed, not Nina or Seb. #Corrie," declared another.
Another worried: "Nina has named Corey - hope Abi doesn't kill him and get herself banged up #Corrie ".
