Coronation Street fans were delighted on Wednesday evening as Todd Grimshaw was finally caught out.
The soap villain was exposed for his schemes to split up his now-fiance Billy Mayhew and love rival Paul Foreman.
Todd also framed Paul for stealing a heat pump from Paul’s workplace, Ed Bailey’s building site, prompting Paul to be arrested and questioned and also lose his job.
However, teenager and former accomplice Will proved to be the thorn in Todd’s side when he told Summer everything.
The latest episode of the ITV soap saw everything come crashing down for Todd as a video of his confession was played at the very public calendar launch party.
Billy was horrified at the footage and later confronted him over his lies and said he felt like killing him.
Viewers tuning in at home were so happy to see the truth come to light, and said it was "worth the wait".
"Best soap scene of 2021! Ok hand #corrie #coronationstreet," one person tweeted.
"I’ve been waiting for this day #Corrie," a second posted, while a third added: "God that scene of Todd’s crimes being exposed was so worth the wait, bless you @itvcorrie #corrie."
A fourth tweeted: "Yasss @ Todd finally getting exposed omg #corrie," while a fifth said: "It was a longtime coming but worth the wait."
However, some Corrie fans had zero sympathy for Billy, with one posting: "Serves you right Billy, you knew what Todd was like. I hope Paul doesn’t take you back as he can do much better. #Corrie."
Another wanted Paul to take him back and tweeted: "It feels so good to see Todd get caught. Now run back to Paul Billy and live happily ever after #Corrie."
At the end of Wednesday's explosive episode, Todd was arrested and rejected by both Billy and their daughter Summer - who actually were the ones who called the cops.
He'll also find himself homeless next week and forced to sleep in his funeral parlour workplace after his evil actions are out in the open.
However, as the week goes on, Summer faces a health crisis, but Todd is the one to find her unconscious and take action.
Will Todd save Summer, and even if he does, has he lost her and Billy for good?
Finally, is there hope of reconciliation for Billy and Paul or has Todd ruined their relationship for good?
