Coronation Street fans do not forget so when a character does something hypocritical, they'll let them know.
This time it's Alya Nazir who hasn't got away lightly after she dumped boyfriend Ryan Connor for spending the night with Daisy Midgeley.
Viewers of the ITV soap watched last week as Ryan and Daisy grew closer as she helped with a business plan to boost his finances.
But when a planned gig gets cancelled, Daisy ushers Ryan into the back room and plies him with cocktails and even when Alya calls in the Rovers looking for Ryan, Daisy keeps schtum about Ryan's whereabouts.
Placing her hand on Ryan’s leg, Daisy wonders which cocktail he’d prefer, the naggy girlfriend or the night of wild passion.
With Ryan completely out of it, Corrie fans were left wondering what happened next.
Then during Monday's double bill, Ryan wakes up in Daisy's bed in the Rovers with no recollection of the night before.
Ryan begs Daisy not to let slip that he was with her last night as she made subtle suggestions as to what they had been up to.
Later, knowing Alya was listening from the door of the Rovers back room, Daisy purposely tells Ryan that she’s not happy about his lies when the truth is he ended up in her bed. leaving Alya stunned.
Alya quickly tells Ryan they're finished and during Wednesday night's trip to Weatherfield, his grovelling isn't getting him anywhere.
Having been summoned by Alya, a hopeful Ryan heads to No.6 with flowers, but Alya isn't in the mood for making up and continues to kick him and his belongings out.
But Corrie fans have been quick to remind Alya that she hasn't got a squeaky clean past either.
"Alya's really NOT as innocent as she makes out... Cheated on Gary Blackmailed her own Grandad Tried to profit from Aidan's death (After he left her his shares in Underworld) All Ryan did is kiss someone & she only really has Daisy's word it even happened #Corrie," tweeted one in his defence.
Another argued: "#Corrie Daft episodes tonight. And, though I'm on Alya's side (as I hate Daisy), isn't she being a tad hypocritical? Or am I misremembering Alya getting drunk and sleeping with Jason while engaged to Gary?"
"'There's no way I would ever of done something like that to you. I deserve better, everyone does' Totally re-writing your own history there Alya? #Corrie," a third added.
A fourth remembered: "Didn’t Alya cheat on Gary Windass back in the day #corrie."
And they have a good memory as it was back in 2015 when Alya ended up sleeping with her boyfriend Gary's best friend Jason Grimshaw after a few glasses of wine while struggling with the grief of losing her father, Kal, in the Victoria Court fire.
Despite her past, many other fans were on Alya's side.
"Is there anything about Alya that is not cool! Go girl! #Corrie," one praised.
Another said: "#corrie come on alya get rid of Ryan once and for all ..you can do so much better."
"Goooooo Alya #corrie @itvcorrie," a third applauded.
