Coronation Street fans were stunned when Alina Pop dropped the bombshell that she was pregnant before leaving Weatherfield.
The beautician played by Ruxandra Porojnicu confided in her best friend Emma Brooker that she was expecting again just weeks after suffering a miscarriage.
She attempted to flee the street without telling her fiance Tyrone Dobbs after finding out that he had kissed his ex Fiz Stape.

Fans took to Twitter to discuss the surprising twist.
"Alina’s pregnant again…" commented one.
"Alina's pregnant again? wtf," asked another.
"Alina is pregnant again!! Wasn’t expecting that..." another commented.
And a fourth said: "Wait, Alina is pregnant again?! I didn't see that coming."
When Tyrone heard the news from Emma he tried to stop Alina from leaving, but she told him she was returning to Romania.
"This baby will have nothing to do with you so get that into your thick skull," she raged.
And she continued brutally: "Why would I let you anywhere near this baby?
"You've done a rubbish job of bringing up your two kids so why would I let you anywhere near mine?"
Alina fell for mechanic Tyrone in March and he left Fiz to start a new life with the younger woman.
Last month couple were devastated after Tyrone's jealous stepdaughter Hope set fire to the baby's cot in their flat while Alina was asleep.
Then Alina tragically miscarried their baby boy.
As Tyrone, who also has a daughter Ruby with his ex wife Kirsty Soames, tried to protect Hope a rift grew between them and he realised he still loved Fiz.
Nail technician Alina first appeared on the soap in April 2019 and was a victim of a slavery ring which made her work at a nail bar against her will.
A cruel human trafficking operation forced her to work long hours for barely any money, which she had to give back to her handlers while living in squalid conditions.
She was rescued from the traffickers and found love with handyman Seb Franklin after he was assigned to a job at the salon where she worked.
After the truth about her enslavement came to light Alina flew home to Romania.
The following year Alina returned to the street to find Seb had moved on with Emma.
Alina fell for Tyrone after she lodged with him and Fiz and their daughters.
Actress Ruxandra sparked fears she was leaving the soap after posting a series of snaps at what looked like a leaving party.
Sharing photos at Manchester's Australasia restaurant and adjoining Sunset bar on Spinningfields Ruxandra said on Twitter: "This week has been such a lovely one!!
"And it’s all thanks to the wonderful people I spent time with.
"I wish I had a pic with each of you but you know who you are. Thank You!"
The photos showed Ruxandra sitting with Alan Halsall who plays Tyrone alongside Jennie McAlpine who plays Fiz and Alexandra Mardell who plays Alina's flatmate Emma.
