Corrie fans were scared when Geoff Metcalfe made a comeback in tonight's double bill.
In a terrifying scene the vile bully, who died in December, returned to haunt his wife who clearly can't shake visions of him in her head.
As a stressed Yasmeen Metcalfe had a meeting with her bank manager with granddaughter Alya Nazir, he suddenly transformed into her abusive late husband with a 'Geoff' name badge.
Yasmeen imagined that she was seeing bully Geoff behind the desk having a go at her about her debts.
"She really should have listened to her husband then she wouldn't be in this mess would she?" asked a sneering Geoff, played by Ian Bartholomew.
"Silly little Yasmeen always thinking she knows best."
A shaken Yasmeen, played by Shelley King, suffered a panic attack and fled.
Bailiffs have been demanding payment of the debts while Alya has been desperately trying to persuade them that Yasmeen isn’t responsible and that she was coerced by Geoff.
During the meeting with the bank manager he explained that that because Yasmeen signed the loan agreements, they are her responsibility.
Alya discovered the debts when she unearthed a pile of unopened final demand letters at Speed Daal, the restaurant Yasmeen owned with Geoff.
"ARGH! Geoff!!!" screamed one fan on Twitter.
"Geoff as a ghost!" exclaimed another.
"Yikes! Geoff’s back," tweeted another.
After being cleared of attempted murder in one of the most dramatic Corrie storylines of the year, Yasmeen was chased onto the roof of her house by Geoff during the soap's 60th anniversary week.
Yasmeen faced prison after Geoff tortured and tormented her until she struck her abuser with a wine bottle.
But the bully plummeted to his death following a terrifying stand-off.
Magician Geoff, played by Ian Bartholomew, abused Yasmeen, played by Shelley King, as part of a harrowing coercive control storyline that saw him lock her in his magic box and plant CCTV cameras in their home.
He was seeing escorts behind her back and when he gave her a sexually transmitted infection he accused her of passing it to him.
Geoff cooked one of Yasmeen's pet chickens and tricked his wife into eating her, and he forced her to wear a racy dress meant for one of his escorts to meet family in the pub.
When they returned home he mocked her and threw her food on the floor until she finally snapped and lashed out with the bottle.
