Corrie fans are terrified that Leanne Battersby will be killed off by Harvey Gaskell after actress Jane Danson appeared to confirm that she was leaving.
Jane, who has played Leanne in Corrie since 1997, took to Twitter to share one of the gripping scenes from Corrie's Super Soap Week showing drugs lord Harvey making his escape from prison after a horror crash.
Harvey, played by Will Mellor, is after Leanne on a mission for revenge for putting him behind bars.

And viewers are scared that he might murder the popular character.
"Well its been an incredible 24 years ..." she teased.
And the questions came flooding in from worried fans.
"I really hope u haven't left Corrie xx" said one.
"Hope you’re not leaving," said another with despair-face emojis.
"WAIT, WHAT?!" shouted another.
"Is Leanne leaving Corrie?" another asked her.
But other viewers reasoned that she is just teasing, and they think PC Craig Tinker could be about to come to her rescue.
"And you have many more to come," said one with a wink.
"I'm sure with PC Tinks about, Harvey will be locked up again in no time!"
"Haha, good one…Leanne will grow old on that street," another told her.
"Hahah Jane you tease," another scolded.
Leanne got mixed up in Harvey's world after her three-year-old son Oliver died and she found out that her adopted son Simon Barlow had been forced to sell drugs to make ends meet for them.
She agreed to go into witness protection to help police bring him down while she went into hiding with Simon and her partner Nick Tilsley.
Harvey made his escape when in his prison van the guard pulled a knife and the van swerves into the Alahan’s stationary car.
Harvey pulled himself out of the van into the torrential rain.
