Coronation Street fans were left fearing for Emma Brooker's safety after tuning into Wednesday's night's episode.
The latest instalment of the ITV soap saw Emma (Alexandra Mardell) finally confront her fiancé Curtis Delamere about his alleged heart condition.
Earlier this week Emma found out that Curtis (Sam Retford) had been taking daily vitamins, not life-saving medication, and was left gutted when she realised he'd been lying about dying.
At the end of Wednesday's episode, Curtis continued his lies as he told Emma: "They confirmed it, kidney's are shot. I'm running out of time Em, what am I gonna do?"
Pretending to go along with it, Emma asked Curtis what his own father had done before dying.

"I wanna go out with a bang and make the most of every second we have left," Curtis told her.
"Please stop!" she blurted out, before telling him: "You're not dying."
Looking stunned, Curtis replied: "Look I know it's a lot to get your head around, but I really need you now, more than ever."
But Emma was having none of it and bluntly told him: "I know that there's nothing wrong with you."

Corrie fans were delighted that Emma had finally confronted him and took to Twitter to comment.
"And just like that finally Emma has caught on that her man is indeed a bit of a psychopath #corrie," one person posted.
Another tweeted: "Surely now that Emma knows that Curtis lied about his dad being dead she will kick him out !!!! #Corrie."
However, other viewers were left feeling concerned for her and feared that Curtis could be a danger to her.
"I just saw an article hinting that Emma could be Curtis’ first “victim” … ERM???? Do we have another John Stape on our hands? #corrie," one person wrote.
Another tweeted: "Curtis is so abusive…. How many times does Emma say sorry in his presence? Been there done that! #corrie."
