Coronation Street viewers have been left fearing for Abi Franklin and Aadi Alan after the events of Monday night.
The ITV soap opera kicked off its Super Soap Week in style after evil gangster Harvey engineered an escape from his prison van but this resulted in the van crashing into the broken-down car of Dev Alahan.
Making a difficult decision, Dev chose to save unconscious Asha Alahan from the back of the car instead of her twin brother Aadi Alahan.
After successfully pulling Asha from the car, the vehicle exploded with Aadi seemingly inside and struggling to get out. His fate left unknown.
Has Dev’s decision doomed his son to a brutal death?

Elsewhere, Harvey knocked a passing Kevin Webster unconscious and stole his car to return to the Street.
Brandishing a spanner, Harvey confronted Leanne Battersby with vengeance in mind for landing him in prison.
Meanwhile, the opening sinkhole on Coronation Street has caused further issues as the Horrornation Street haunted house attraction saw lives endangered.

Inside the house, Abi Franklin plotted to confront Corey Brent, the evil and unrepentant killer of her son Seb Franklin.
The pair shared a dark confrontation that saw them threaten each other with Abi finally pulling out her gun to kill the murderer.
However before Abi could go through with killing Corey, the pair fell through the floor of the haunted house and into the caverns below the street.
The episode ended with Abi unconscious at the bottom of the shaft.

Naturally, Coronation Street viewers had lots of thoughts on the drama occurring.
One Corrie fan wrote on Twitter : “Oh my god !!! I really hope Aadi got out of that car. !!! And what a way of ending a spooky horror nation ! #Corrie thank you”.
A different person commented: “Omggggg Harvey Leanne YIKES”.
Meanwhile, another Corrie admirer penned: “Omg if Corey's awake and shoots Abi I'll go mad”.

Elsewhere, another fan of the soap wrote: “I hope Aadi don't die #Corrie @itvcorrie omg abi went down the whole with f***n Corey”.
Finally, one Coronation Street fan concluded: “Wow what an epic set of episodes. What is gonna happen next so many questions. Is Aadi ok? Will Abi shoot Corey? What is going to happen to Leanne? I'll see you on Wednesday when the drama continues xx #Corrie ”.
